thursday morning work work and more work. all bogged down with floorball work, APAC planning soon to start as well. and as it is, 2nd week of IHP and we've yet to do anything. God help us. the upside is at least we've got an idea (i think) of how we want to approach it
anyhows. watching Love Actually on cable now. the soundtrack's absolutely wonderful. of course the instrumentals are always nicer (especially the one where the small kid runs past airport security to say bye to a girl). a very good example of how good background music can stir up emotions even for a love-comedy movie. not that i'm tearing or crying. but well, i've seen people who have. of course there's the unforgetable seen of the writer who flies all the way to france or spain (i think) to propose to a girl who was his maid. the whole restaurant scene was fantastic. maybe i'll do that someday to someone. hah. but as it is. i just want to run up and tell her words that may never leave my mouth just because i'm scared of telling her. damnit. i'd go skydiving, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes and helicopters, putting my limbs to the risk playing ice hockey but i dare not say a whole sentence. DAMN IT.
ANYWAYS. 20th october there'll be no training. em and i decided to take the guys out for a movie outing. hahaha. will have to confirm the number of people asap and get the tickets bought. will be watching the soccer movie Goal!. caught the extended trailer of it on cable. looks good. and exactly the kind of show to inspire the guys to perform as best as they can for IVP. another one we're thinking of showing to them is Miracle and Remember the Titans. the things you do to inspire your team-mates. haha. quote: "jason. you and your ideas". right. they work don't they? haha :)
so results will be out in 8 hours and 40 minutes time. think i'll do ok. but i have this sneaky feeling i won't do as well as i hope. but oh well. nothing i can do now, no regrets. so i'll just have to wait.
