sunday afternoon well. the short trip has reached it's end. leaving for the airport in about half an hour. i must say it has been fun and fulfilling in some ways. to have been able to meet up with so many people in such a short time and to have been able to spend time with a certain few who matter so much.
in short, it was worth every bit of it. but like all good things, it must come to an end. here's a shout-out.
chinx - hey jie. was good to see you even thought it was for that short 20 minutes. it still amazes me how we've been able to keep in touch for so long and still be talking like we just met yesterday even though it's been months or even years. december will be a blast.
mingrui/tim/james/nicholas/david/ang - was good to have met up with you all. the short time i spent with you guys in brigade was fun to say the least. but we all go our separate ways someday and well, have a good time while you're all still around. we'll meet up again.
gary - hey bro. thanks for the favors you did for me when i was in taiwan. great to have met you last night over martinis, dao huay and you tiao. haha! we'll drive around more next time. see you online.
shuren - hey sir. haha. ok. congrats on your commissioning. you've earned it. combat engineers and all. good luck with NDP and your eventual post as Dy S1. manpower work is interesting but monotonous. so yeah. try to have fun. catch you online bro. take care.
shaun/ben/ivan/zhixiong - thanks guys for meeting up for that short 3 hours in suntec. was good to see all of you again. so now i have more to thank you all for. for pulling me through poly and now this overseas posting of mine. hah! we need to meet up more often man. with or without shank. wenru and tianci must join us the next time round.
maryann - hey you. sorry that we met only for that short while. really am. plans didn't go according to how i saw it would so hence the cock-up. rain check! you take care and good luck with school and sailing. say hello to daryl for me when you see him aite?

yeni - hey sweets. was great to have met you on more than one occasion. thursday was a surprise. friday was tremendous. saturday was for 40min but it felt like only 5. well. short as it may have been, it was really nice to meet up after 3 months. i guess december can't come soon enough eh? for now, hang in there. school, friends, family and everything else we talked about, well, it's part of the growing up process. learn from it, pick yourself up and move on. you'll have never-ending support and whatever else it may be from me and that's a guarantee. so yup. till december, you take care, stay safe and all the best with your exams. ilyl.
