burnt.

sunday morning think the "surprise party" went pretty well just now. the dinner was an open secret of sorts but thanks all the same to everyone who helped to prepare the food, helped to stall time and helped to clean up the huge mess that zongyao and i created. ha!

in any case, i think i'll be taking a break from cooking on a large scale for a while. i've burnt myself for the second time in a month - the first being burnt by boiling oil and today, well, let's just say i almost cooked my finger.
