breaks.
sunday night wednesday floorball was crazy. it really was. a bunch of them came down to watch and it was unfortunate that i didn't play really well. i didn't score at all but it felt good to have been able to play nearly as physical as i wanted to be in the past few games. the physical aspect of my games has been lacking so to be able to rough it out with players much bigger than me, well, let's just say it felt good.
thursday night was spent out at night. the rest of it shall remain... a secret. ha! with that, the weekend started a bit early, went out with jimmy sol and jomel to look for costumes for next saturday's party. found the one i wanted so i'm seriously considering whether or not to go ahead and rent it.
went for the school of music's orchestral performance on friday. unfortunately, i fell asleep twice. classical isn't for me. ha! but it was really good, especially the 2nd set which was composed by a student. really fantastic. somehow or rather i enjoyed the violin solo more than the guitar one but that's probably because i always wanted to learn the violin? oh well..
saturday was pretty much a rest day. did a bit of work and made laksa for dinner. think it was alright, better than i thought it'd turn out and dessert was really well done by the "dessert crew". manchester united against liverpool was a shite game so let's not even talk about it.
today was good. had a great lunch before heading back to hall for the finals of the interhall volleyball tournament. b&g won both ladies and mens finals! i must say, it's a different kind of feeling playing to represent your school, to represent your country, to represent your club. playing for your hall is just so much different. the different nationalities, the different culture, the "rojak" of people and everything. it's just that much more interesting. and it was a proud moment to see the team win that comprehensively, especially more so when you have friends playing on the team. ha!
made up my mind to join the touch rugby team and TRY to make it into the hall team. should be fun. hehs.
now it's back to my friggin' tutorials.. yawn.
