saturday night apparently the concept of "kiasu-ism" isn't lost on westerners as well. case in point: for the past couple of days, it's been my dumb luck to want to play table tennis in the common area with my friends when others want to play too. and all 3 times it has always turned out the same way - the westerners running and grabbing the table tennis bets before we do. and the annoying part? they celebrate the fact that they get to play with chest-beating and cheering. fuck off you pissheads.

and china is asking the world to "ditch their unsustainable lifestyles". talk about ironies. they're not exactly very "green" themselves. pot calling the kettle black? i'd say so..
