wednesday night i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. accounting and computing is done and both went better than i expected. all that's left is management before i head for a good (albeit short) winter break.

the week has been tainted by news of the passing of a brother-in-arms. the starlight family has lost yet another member. and to quote andy, "家里失去了情人， 我们失去了兄弟，国家失去了勇士。"

such is life. sigh..
