warped weather.
monday morning first week of school was a blast. of course lessons weren't exactly in full swing but hey, it's always nice to be able to ease back into the mindset and momentum of studying. paintball on saturday was a blast. i've never played in a more challenging field before with so many tactically sound people (think highly trained army people on both teams).
the weather this past week is erratic and annoying. it rains a bit, has warm rays of sun a bit and then rains some more. thankfully the weather held during paintball. this coming week looks set to be more of the same: rain-sun-rain-sun-rain... in spite of the possible negative temperatures, i seem to enjoy it (without the rain of course) and am still going about in my windbreaker, berms, berks and tshirt. ha!
my timetable is proving to be unforgiving this semester, not that i did not expect that. first assignments are already done and there are more to come. i'm actually looking forward to a few of them, save for the math-like course that i'm taking.
this semester is also packed with activities thanks to ssa and the high commission. there's a national day reception coming up on the 10th, about 2 or 3 more ssa activities before the ssa night before the agm to conclude the semester. i'm also in the midst of preparing for a performance for singapore community day 09 to be held here in canberra. the band's expanded to have 10 people now, to include more vocalists but essentially, the musicians remain the same.
then there are other activities to partake in, international ball (and the afterparty) this coming weekend, the ski/snowboarding trip, interhall volleyball and touch rugby.
busy and exciting semester ahead.. loving it for now.
on a separate note, it's a joke that we'd rather support liverpool/man utd instead of our national team.. it's THAT hilarious, amusing and yet distasteful all at the same time.
