saturday morning past 2 days have been good.been out with my classmates quite abit this hols.realised that SOME of them arent too bad after all.but i still have my reservations =x anyhows.highlight of the week has got to be friday.was at my mentor's house the whole afternoon with my class (well.at least most of them) had roti prata with loads of curry.chocolate cake that we bought from bengawan solo.champagne that leon brought as well as garlic bread and sausage rolls (all were dipped in curry by me.which led to everyone doing the same thing) played chess with firdaus.kicked his ass twice.haha! but nothing much.was a relaxed atmosphere.mike brought up the issue about signin on with the army.and i'm really contemplating that idea still although a part of me wants to take a chance and go NS and fight for a place in OCS rather than sign up for the joint-poly diploma scheme and be a specialist the rest of my army life.and as far as i know.emily's signing on with the police.so is firdaus.mike's already signed on to the JPDS with the army.i've aspirations of becoming an army officer or air force pilot.so i guess thats 1/5 of the class that will most likely be in the civil service.hahaha..
went out with the bunch after that to town.emily got pissed and so did i.3 maids on a day out really should just drop dead and die at kfc in taka.shant bother to explain what happened.but emily got really upset
then comes the highlight of the week.met clare after a 'long' while.she bought dinner at fish & co. (thanks girl).while waitin for seats we went looking for her skirt and my book at centerpoint.chewed on my tongue accidentally during the dinner.was bleeding like crap.mouth still tastes of blood =\
today's another burnt day.am probably going to shop for first aid supplies and any other stuff that i need to pack for the kinabalu and india trips.before coming home for the portsmouth-manchester united game at 10pm.so i think the whole day will be with my parents (and sister?)

anyhows.hols have been good so far..my enjoyment has been so fruitful that my xbox is still out on the floor untouched after i took it out to play fifa2005 for a meager 3 hours before i went to sleep
went for two pre-expedition activities.one was a walk from mcritchie (i'm sure i spelt this wrong) to bt timah and the other was a camp at camp christine (for the india trip)
i can only say that for both expeditions.the majority of the people going for both trips are fine.they're great people to talk to and have fun with.but there're the few that really pisses people (aka ME) off alot

kinabalu: talkative few who cant seem to shut the hell up
india: too many to list.but the 2 key fellas are a guy who's a damn fag who knows NUTS about building coms from scratch and a girl/butch who has a hell lot of funny ideas that aren't feasible but seems to want to force her ideas onto people

not surprisingly.an argument broke out during one of the discussion/planning sessions and it almost got out of control.but one could tell that alot of them were just plain frustrated and wanted no part in the dumbness that was being proposed.but oh well.gotta take the shit and move on.21 days of 'closeness' wont be nice to have with all the friction around

review of semester 3 exams:

OOP - paper went quite smoothly.gratidude given to my trio of brothers shaun sangar benjamin.and fengnan for helping with the uml.i think i did more than enough to secure at least a B or C+ for this paper.which means no semester 7! -relaxes-

DB - ok.this was by far the most challenging paper in the whole exam.but all in all was a very pleasing paper to take.in the sense that if you've studied you wouldn't have any problem.i'm just very relieved that i made the effort to study a hell lot of theory because somehow i figure that they'll be tested and with higher weightage. B+ or A for this one.overall module grade should hit a B or B+ (underachieved during my common test)

NF - what can be said of the easiest paper in the whole exam.taken on your own birthday.an exam for a module for which you have a great deal of interest in? enough said.A+ for the paper.AD for module

WM - ahh..the proverbial 'in-your-face' kind of paper.challenging yet an insult to your intelligence.that summarises WM.A or A+ for paper.B+ or A for module

moving away from school.this year's birthday was pretty quiet.some people whom i thought would remember obviously didnt.which was quite disappointing.but oh well.got some pretty sweet messages too so that really makes up quite abit.didn't even have a celebratory dinner proper with my family.had to cut the cake on saturday night cos my sister isnt home during the weekdays.so from the family point of view.i'm actually very very disappointed.i mean.yeah.i have my exams to study for.but oh well.maybe i was expecting too much

stayed on in eGarage after NF to study as much WM as possible before heading for the Eagles Farewell 1 concert.man.it was worth every cent of the $227 paid man.90 min concert became almost a 200 min one.3 encores and a damn good performance.sound system was flawless.crowd was fabulous.girls were hot.guys were cool.wonderful atmosphere.all i can say is.Eagles aren't a 'past their prime' band.they're better than good.their tremendously wonderful and talented people (that includes their secondary band consisting of 2 keyboardists 1 drummer 3 saxaphonists 1 violinist/trumpeteer/saxaphonist) i cant emphasise how much i enjoyed it.so thanks alot mum for buying the tickets.thanks alot dad for coming along (makes up-for now at least-for not getting the p910i.HAH!)

fast-forward to today.had WM paper.went out with my class people after that.went KBox (i hate this kinda place ya know.blah).kelvin mike emily christine siying linan came.was crazy.we were there from 2 till 7..man..oh well.thanks guys for the birthday song.hehe

sunday morning post number 280.hah! am halfway through my exams now.i'm actually quite pleased with the way OOP turned out.found it surprisingly smooth (can't say it was easy now can i?).DB was pretty smooth-sailing too.am not having high hopes for OOP though.C+ would be nice.DB.well.a B would be great.so monday's NF and my birthday.birthday luck maybe? am looking forward to the Eagles' concert on monday evening too.coming week is packed.here's how it looks like:

monday morning exams are drawing nearer.am i prepared? mostly. OOP's still the biggest obstacle but i'm trying to friggin pass it to advert the disaster of going to semester 7..
went for a friendly match with SP today.played slightly below average today.2 solo runs ended up with me losing possession.much as i would like to blame the flooring (it's TOO smooth).i think i'll have to work on my ball control.
anyhows.watched new police story with my parents.was a good show.worth watching again.story line was good but could have been better

am coming up with a list for birthday presents..HAH! and top of the list is the sony ericsson p910i..next would be able to hold either clare's marilyn's or shiyun's hands for the rest of my life -dreams- HAHA!

tuesday morning guess day was pretty alright.spent the good part of 5 plus hours sitting at the grandstand doing revision for WM and DB.attempted to do some for NF but i've no idea how to begin because it's all messy in the lecture slides.so i'll probably just print out the slides itself and then study from there.so anyhow.got back my DB assignment.got an A+.but don't think i deserved it fully? but oh well.so alphonsus calculated.i just need to get about 13/100 for the exam to get a D.funny eh? fail exam still pass the whole module
have been looking up both NUS and NTU admission offices websites for admission criteria.looks like i'll have to continue with computers in uni (if i can make it locally).if not i'm actually quite keen on taking up aerospace or mass comm somewhere.perhaps joining NP after NS? ahaha.. -wake up man!-

monday morning work seems beyond me now.i'm just looking forward to the holidays.looking forward to the India trip as well as next semester.looking forward to having fun with my brothers shaun and ben (both of SB-affiliation).having ICTS people like lionel kangni and berilyn as well as madelyn should be great.but i'm unable to escape the fact that exams are in 2 weeks.i'm as prepared for OOP as i am last week.which is 15% prepared.which of course means it's bad.have already studied for NF.or so i hope.so i'm left with OOP, WM and DB.it's depressingly depressing having to take exams on my birthday.and it's probably going to be NF or DB paper.but oh well..

sunday was alright.woke up around 12.went out for lunch with my family at great world city before heading to Allianz Francaise for Hossan Leong's stand-up comedy.it was fantastic.and well.i guess you have to be there to know the jokes.and a good grasp of recent events would help too
