monday whole of monday was spent on floorball.had 3 games today.2 i played in and 1 which i ref-ed.
so basically games went well..scores are as follows:

UWC Girls 5 NP Girls 10
UWC Staff 7 FC Squirrels 8

scored 2 against their staff team.tallied an assist too.fooled around during the 1st game.hehe.oh well

friday morning something i like and dislike about holidays is the fact that i've got plenty of time on my hands.apart from going to school now and then for eGarage and floorball activities, reading my books and just enjoying the stress-free life of a well-deserved break, it also gives me alot of time to think about things.how my future's going to be like and all but mostly on things that have gone by.and i've also been reflecting on my faith.especially given all that's happened the past couple of weeks with regards to the passing of one Pope and the election of another

see.the past couple of days.i've been talking to a friend whom i'd met in french class.someone i had a liking for but never got about to really going for her for God knows why.and sometimes i think.was it the right decision or is it going to be something i regret..and it sure doesnt help that she's one who's almost always bright and cheerful.adds a sparkle to anyone's life

it's things like this that makes me thankful.my friends.my family most of all.i've been leading a fantastic life.supportive (mostly) parents, a sister and of course my wonderful grandmother.friends that have been there when i really needed them (people like brian, shank, chin han, anne and marilyn for example).friends that have been really patient with me (tim for example) and even some of my tutors who've struck a friendship with me instead of a teacher-student one..

thank God for all of you.friends and family alike

tuesday morning as i'm typing this.the cardinals in the Vatican now have just cast their first ballot.black smoke.no decision.i'm now torn between watching this for the rest of the night or going to sleep.whichever it is.i pray that they choose a successor worthy of being the leader of the Church...

friday morning wireless jam's over.NP won 1.versus last year's 6.wow.BUT let it be said for the record.all the NP guys arent happy simply because we lost to people who stole ideas and called it their own.if i were too be ruthless and be more critical.from a presentation standpoint.the winners sure as hell have poor presentation skills and articulation.and oh.if you're asking who won.well.TP did. -smiles a fake smile- theft & piracy. ;)

saturday morning friday was good.fantastic.wonderful.absolutely brilliant! ok.even though it started off with the 154 bus breaking down along PIE.but .NET day was pretty acceptable i guess.floorball meeting was dull.but hey man.highlight of the day was dinner.went home after the floorball meeting to change and shower.caught the last hour of the Pope's funeral

thursday morning wireless jam presentation was pretty good i think.even though the day started out bad.first my laptop refused to startup.followed by the keyboard not working.and then finally when all seemed ok.the battery died.so managed to find a switch where i transferred all the files needed to ivan's laptop to burn into a cd
presentation was pretty good in the sense that i got good body language and signals from 2 of the 3 judges.generally i think i hit a couple of sweet spots with regards to the game as well as my marketing plan.so all's left is to wait till next wednesday to find out the results.hoping to win something. -crosses finger-
now.before all that was possible.spent 7 hours in school on tuesday "patching" ben's AI with mr phoon (even though i mostly provided the logic and calculations.heh).pizza was ordered into the conference room where we were all cooped up patching and fixing bugs in our programs.hah!

today's going to be another busy day.got some SB stuff in the morning right after my appointment with NSC.followed by photo-video SIG outing to Esplanade Park (think that's the name).friday's going to be great i hope.got my Microsoft .NET Day in eGarage followed by a floorball meeting at PS and then the highlight of the day.meeting clare! finally going to be able to give her the birthday present that was bought in january.oh wells..since i'm kinda stoned now.post back again sometime later

monday morning -takes a long breath- well! there goes year 2 in a flash.exams went pretty well save for ISDT.had food poisoning on that day so i didnt complete the paper.am waiting to see if i need to take a retest (IF they allow)..so..as usual..summary of my projected grades:

EBF - A+
LAN - C+
SA - B/B+ (damn class politics for this)
PM - B+/A
ISDT - B/B+ (ermm...pending exam results)

am too lazy to blog now..but very quickly..the next 3 weeks are packed with meetings after meetings and eGarage activities.not forgetting Wireless Jam demo this wed.hope Ben can complete the AI -cross fingers-
bought a new mouse after my small one died.got a Barracuda Lite mousepad too.hah! happy holidays!

at this point.i would add also that the passing of the Pope has had an impact on me.not that i'm a holy person or whatever.but the passing of the head of my religion is something well.lets put it as unreal.i left my radio on to bbc on saturday night before i slept.and just after i had made myself comfortable on my bed.the announcement came..and as of right now.i still cant believe that the Pope has passed away..but on the flip side.somehow.just somehow.the whole 2 days that my parents and i were following the news on cnn/bbc/cnbc about the Pope.my faith has grown stronger..
