monday past week was great.absolutely wonderful.spent the week in sabah attempting to scale mt kinabalu.i said attempt because i made 75% of the climb.got stopped cold (literally) by fever.so the lecturer-in-charge didnt want me to climb.and i guess it was a blessing in disguise because even though the rest of the team made it up to the peak in fine weather.when they came back 12 hours later.they were pretty much soaked to the skin.and having said that.we had insufficient clothes.so basically the poor chums had to sleep in wet and cold conditions.lent out my 2 shirts and a pair of socks.hah!

the whole trip was well worth the money spent nonetheless (apart from 3 people consistently testing my patience).malaysian customs was appalling.the manner with which they treat foreigners as well as the service level of their customs officers.two words: farked up

past 3 days was spent getting up to speed with the progress of the india trip preparations.let's just say that alot of people are not doing their jobs and a certain few are what lionel would say "test of patience".thank God for andrew (lecturer-in-charge for kinabalu and 3rd i/c for india).he's ability to get on very well with us (well.at least the kinabalu bunch that's going to india) is proving to be a very good balance

am lookig forward to the trip.enjoying it and trying to keep sane among a bunch of insane year 3s who're full of crap and are wasting the time of alot of people.oh.some lecturers are just as bad.just don't ask which ones
